How does a double adjustable bed work?
The base of a double adjustable bed has an assortment of joints.
Each of the joints rotates a certain percentage, which allows you and your partner to choose between a wide range of lying and sleeping positions. Raise and lower each section of the bed using the simple handset.
Near-silent motors move each section separately, supporting the mattress and enabling you and your partner to find the most comfortable position.
Electric double beds are straightforward to operate, can lead to multiple health benefits and a much more relaxing bedtime experience.
What are the health benefits of having a double adjustable bed?
A double recliner bed allows you to elevate your legs and lie at an incline (separately or at the same time if you wish) by adjusting your position with the simple handset.
Elevating legs reduces swelling, easing painful, swollen and stiff legs. Injuries and wounds such as ulcers heal faster when legs are raised. When inflammation reduces and healing begins, rest and relaxation follow.
Lying at an incline can reduce acid reflux and heartburn. People with some sleep disorders (such as sleep apnoea) find that sleeping at an incline can improve symptoms. Plus it is easier to take medication when you are an incline as opposed to flat.

Can sleeping in a recliner chair cause problems?
Sleep patterns change with age. Age UK highlights that sleep tends to become less deep and people wake up more often during the night or earlier in the morning as they grow older.
