Job Title: Delivery Driver
Line Manager: Warehouse Manager
Job Purpose: To support the lead driver in delivering and installing products to customers or attending service calls as scheduled.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
- Working with the lead driver to make deliveries to customers
- Providing a positive customer service experience, ensuring customers are left fully satisfied with their product and experience with the company
- Ensure all rubbish generated by delivery is removed from customers’ homes
- Sharing driving responsibilities, ensuring you are adhering to the highway code, following road signage and driving safety
- Communicate in a professional manner with the office team
- Safety load and unload your van at the start and end of each day
- Ensure any health and safety concerns with the vans are raised immediately to your line manager
- Ensure paperwork is completed as required and returned to the office
- Step up and cover as Lead Driver as requested, once trained to do so
- Warehouse duties as required by Warehouse Manager/Assistant Manager
- Follow all company rules and procedures
- Any other reasonable requests from your manager
