Our leather armchair recliners are available in a choice of natural and faux leather. Faux leather is a synthetic material that has the look of real leather, albeit at a lower price point. It is also vegan friendly.
Genuine leather recliners may be a little more expensive, but their look and feel are unparalleled. Real leather has hypo-allergenic properties and is an environmentally friendly option, being a natural by-product of the beef industry.
Care and maintenance of leather armchair recliners
It’s important to regularly treat your leather recliner with a product designed for either faux or genuine leather to combat any grease, oil or product residue that originates from the hands, head or hair.
You may wish to use a throw or blanket on your chair as this will help protect it from other daily wear and tear such as crumbs or spills and pet hair and claw marks.
As with any spillage, deal with it as soon as possible, by blotting rather than rubbing. Cleaning products should be applied to the cloth, not the leather recliner, unless stated in their instructions.
Leather electric recliners should be vacuumed using the brush attachment and wiped with a microfibre cloth to get rid of any debris before cleaning. You can then wipe the chair with a soft, damp cloth, allow it to dry and then treat or buff the leather.
